KSL USA Announcement

Klevr Super League Launches USA League for 2026–27 Season

Klevr Super League (KSL), in partnership with 200×85, is proud to announce the launch of the Klevr Super League USA, a new league platform designed to bring the KSL’s premier 8U hockey experience to teams across the United States beginning in the 2026–27 season. Applications are already being accepted for this season.

Modeled after the highly successful Klevr Super League in Ontario, KSL USA will provide American teams with a structured series of events focused on competition, player development, and fun for 8U and under athletes. While KSL USA and the Ontario-based league will operate as separate entities, the two will remain closely connected, with select optional events offering opportunities for teams from both leagues to compete together.

The expansion represents the next step in the continued growth of the KSL platform following the league’s partnership with 200×85 in late 2025.

“Our goal with the Klevr Super League has always been to create an environment where young players can develop, compete, and fall in love with the game,” said Justin Lewandowski, 200×85 President. “Launching KSL USA allows us to bring that same model and experience to families and associations in the United States while still maintaining connections with the Canadian league. We’re excited to build something special for young players across the Midwest.”

Built around the league’s mission of delivering affordable, safe, fun, and competitive hockey, KSL USA will emphasize premium development experiences, full-ice competition, and memorable event environments that help young athletes grow both on and off the ice.

The inaugural 2026–27 KSL USA schedule will include the following premier events:

In addition, KSL USA teams will have the opportunity to participate in select optional events alongside KSL Canada teams, further expanding the competitive experience:

  • November 20–22, 2026 – Rochester, NY – Cwench KSL Mite World Invite
  • December 18–20, 2026 – Toronto, ON – Klevr Holiday Klassik

According to Kevin Mann, Founder and CEO of 200×85, the launch of KSL USA reflects the growing demand for high-quality programming for the youngest players in the game.

“We’ve seen tremendous momentum around the Klevr Super League and the experience it provides for young players and their families,” said Mann. “Launching KSL USA allows us to extend that same philosophy to American teams while creating opportunities for cross-border competition and unforgettable hockey experiences. This is an exciting step in continuing to grow the game at the grassroots level.”

Several teams have already committed to participating in the inaugural season, and applications are now being accepted for organizations interested in joining KSL USA. Associations looking to provide their 8U and under players with a structured, development-focused league experience are encouraged to apply as the league continues to build its inaugural lineup of teams.

With its emphasis on development, fun, and premium event experiences, the Klevr Super League USA aims to provide young athletes with a platform to learn the game, compete at a high level, and create lasting hockey memories.
